Alerts on your phone, no app to download

Wishweaver alerts arrive as a notification straight from the website, the same way a news site or your bank can notify you. Nothing to find in the App Store. Two minutes per device, once.

Every alert goes out in up to three ways at once:

  • Email, always, to the address you sign in with. Nothing to set up.
  • A notification on your phone or computer, on each device where you turn it on (steps below). This is the one that buzzes.
  • A text message, on paid plans, once you verify your number on your dashboard.

iPhone and iPad

Apple only lets a website send notifications once it is on your Home Screen, and it needs iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or newer (Settings, General, About). It then behaves like an app, with its own icon.

  1. Open wishweaver.ai in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  3. Close Safari and open Wishweaver from the new icon on your Home Screen.
  4. Sign in with your email. When the email arrives, type the 6-digit code into Wishweaver rather than tapping the link (the link opens Safari, which is a separate place on iPhone).
  5. On My watches, tap Turn on alerts, then Allow.
  6. Tap Send a test to see one arrive.

Android

  1. Open wishweaver.ai in Chrome and sign in.
  2. On My watches, tap Turn on alerts, then Allow.
  3. Tap Send a test. Optional: Chrome menu, Add to Home screen, for an icon.

Computer

  1. Open wishweaver.ai in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari (macOS 13 or newer) and sign in.
  2. On My watches, click Turn on alerts, then Allow.
  3. Computers show notifications while the browser is running, so your phone is the better place for the 3 a.m. opening.

Good to know

  • Turn alerts on for each device you want buzzed; a phone and a laptop can both have them.
  • Quiet hours on a watch hold alerts overnight. Turn them off on the watch you would get up for.
  • If notifications are blocked, the dashboard says so. On iPhone: Settings, Notifications, Wishweaver. On Android and computers: the lock icon next to the address, then Notifications.
  • Email goes out either way, so a missed notification is never a missed alert.
